30’s Omega Tank Curvex Clamshell

€500.00

A very early and particular Omega watch from the 1930s. Part of an experimental series of rectangular, semi-waterproof watches, this is one of the more particular ones we have found.

The case features a sort of clamshell construction: 4 screws holding the middle to a large base that serves as a carrier and caseback. The dial is perfectly legible and the patina has gracefully enhanced the natural 2 tone , Art Deco design of it all.

Truly something unique with a very ‘sculpture’ feel to it - this very rare piece is available now for a great price, only @avocadovintagewatches.
